The never ending birthday

This is what happens when you have a birthday on a Tuesaday. It's 2 days later, and friends are still sending me sweet messages. Heck, even my 'gathering' (thats what its called when you get old) isn't even until this Saturday.

So the Duplass boys and the Katie girl just emailed me a digital picture with a birthday greeting. This e-mail/picture put a big olde smile on my face.

My boss gave me the Thurston Moore book about casette mix tapes.

I should do something nice for him.

4 boroughs and my mama

My mom is here right now.
We've been to 4 of the 5 boroughs thus far. Don't think we're going to make it to the Bronx.

If you want to see the Stature of Liberty, take the Staten Island Ferry.

It's free and you can drink beer. Also you get a good look of Lady Liberty. I know you've seen a million pictures/images on TV, but being in a boat, seeing it up close, is amazing.

I then took mom to Coney Island at the edge of Brooklyn. We rode on the Wonder Wheel, and I kept singing "Wonder Wall" in my head, changing it to "You're my Wonder Wheel."

I didn't have my camera so these pictures from the net will have to do.

Next, onto China Town, so my sister back home could have her very own fake Louis Vuitton. It was pretty easy, and I am now in with the gang. Lemme now if you need some help.
