Mates of State instore video footage

Off my Cool Pix digital snapshot camera.

You get the jist.

I liked it when they played this song in NYC

Mary B just sent this to me from the Belle and Sebastian show in SF. They did it here in NYC too, and it was a show highlight. It's song #5 from Tigermilk. I like the way the guy in the suit dances.

Bring It Back: In Store

Mates of State's new record 'Bring It Back' came out yesterday - so they celebrated by doing an instore at Virgin in Union Squre (just down from Trader Joe's and my place).

Video comming soon (just waiting for Google to accept the video.)

Here are some pics -

Juice/Tommy/Deni and Susie were all there to rock out. After words, I had Jason and Kori sign CDs for those that were good enough to come out. We then went for some yummy Criff's Dogs.

More like home

Rearranged the place – feels more like a home now. I don’t what I was thinking about the way I had it set up before.

Susie and I then headed over to the Joe’s to pick up some dinner. NYC has gone insane – and for good reason – I love the Joe’s.

So the Joe's opened...

Susie and I walked by on the way to the train. We saw the crowds. We saw the sign . We had to get to work on time. I'll stop by on my way home from work. I'll go in and take pictures tomorrow.

Crazy Japanese kids show!

Go to YouTube and search on Kure Kure Takora to get you some'mo.

What?

I don't understand this blog at all. I came across it and threw it in my bloglines, and it's just absolutely bizarro. From time to time, I'll even comment - 'I don't understand your blog.' I think it may belong to Dave Eggers, or someone in his posse.

They don't open until 9 am and they close at 10?

I may just have to be late to work next Thur. I have to go there the morning it opens.

Now that I have the Trader Joe's and the In and Out across the street, the only things I need from Cali are an Ameoba and a Peet's. And my friends. And that elusive pile o' cash.
