It's the end of the world as we know it...

...and I feel fine

#1 sign:
This week, 50 Cent became the first artist since 1964 to score four simultaneous top-10 hits on Billboard's singles chart. "Candy Shop" and "Disco Inferno" — from his chart-topping album The Massacre — and the Game's "Hate It or Love It" and "How We Do" tracks, which feature 50 on guest vocals, are sitting at #1, #5, #6 and #8, respectively. The Beatles were the last act to achieve such a feat, with songs dominating the chart's top five spots.

#2 sign:
The Flaming Lips played a shit ass free party for Mazda here in NYC, and true fans got pissed when they were told they were too fat to come in. I guess I can't complain, I did get to see them at a dot coms Christmas' party a few years back.

Well, at least I have the new eels and Radar Brothers records chock full of sad sad songs to keep me company.

Austin, here I come.
