We don't have InNOut in NYC, but we have Shake Shack. And Shake Shack opened last week, so Susie and I skipped our normal Sunday brunch because we knew the line would be short. We were right.
It doesn't matter who makes the better burger, because you don't really have a choice. Depending on where you are decides what burger you gonna get. And both are great.

I like In'N'Out's sauce better, but Shake Shack's new fries are the best.
I don't get sauce. Maybe next time I'll try it.
we had a little in n out burger action on our way from Barstow, CA (dont ask!) to SF. so so delicious, although they claim they never had mushrooms. am i crazy for thinking they did? shake was pretty good to but no danny meyer....
in and out never had shrooms. you must be thinking about something else in the bay area. heh.
